Maginus Digital Marketing Manager Named as Finalist for Everywoman in Technology Award

 

Amanda Mulquiney shortlisted in Digital Star category in seventh annual FDM Everywoman in Technology Awards

 

10th January 2017 – Amanda Mulquiney, Digital Marketing Manager, for Manchester based Maginus, a leading wholesale distribution and retail IT solution provider, has been named as a finalist in the Digital Star category at the seventh annual FDM Everywoman in Technology Awards.

 

 

The Awards recognise and celebrate women that are changing the face of technology in the UK from entrepreneurs and engineers driving the business agenda to students and academics raising the profile of science and technology subjects.  The Digital Star Award is awarded to a woman who is excelling in a digital role which could include delivering innovative digital content, social media, web development or developing online solutions.

 

 

Amanda was shortlisted in recognition of the role she has played in leading the digital transformation of Maginus’ marketing department where she has developed and implemented a ‘Best Practice’ digital marketing strategy. This has included introducing marketing automation, an innovative approach that only 3% of B2B businesses utilise. As a result of Amanda’s work, more than 50% of Maginus’ new business pipeline and customers are now reached and engaged with using digital campaigns.

Amanda was one of 33 finalists across various categories handpicked from hundreds of entries by a panel of some of the UK’s most senior technology leaders. The finalists were singled out for their career achievements to date and potential for growth as well as for their commitment to actively support others in the sector, both inside and outside of their organisation. Amanda will go head-to-head with two other finalists in her category with the winner being announced at a ceremony on 9 February at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
