Chief Executive Officer

Simon Weeks has over 20 years senior management experience in the software industry. Prior to joining Maginus, Simon held roles in a number of technology companies including: K3 Business Technology Group PLC, Ross Systems Inc., Visibility Corporation and Cincom Systems Inc.

Rachel Board

Company Secretary

Rachel is a qualified management accountant and HR professional. She has previously worked at Shield Computer Services, House of Fraser and has been with Maginus for over ten years.

Simon Dunleavy

Customer Services Director

Simon joined Maginus 15 years ago from the Department of Constitutional Affairs. As Director of the Customer Services, Simon is responsible for our Customer Support team and Managed Hosting Services team.

Gerry Booth

Professional Services Director

Gerry has over 25 years’ experience in IT service delivery that includes senior roles with companies such as JDA, Torex, and GlaxoSmithKline. Gerry brings a wealth of experience delivering multichannel projects that support business change management, business strategy and process transformation.

Gerry is responsible for the successful delivery of our projects through the Professional Services team.

Mark Thornton

Chief Operating Officer

Mark has 30 years’ experience in the software industry, including ERP, BI and eCommerce solutions, predominantly for the wholesale B2B & retail sectors. He previously worked for Visibility Corporation, where he was General Manager of their European subsidiary, Mentec International and Barclays Bank. As Chief Operating Officer, Mark is responsible for all the operational delivery aspects of the company.

Martin Pickering

Technical Director

Martin has been with Maginus for over 10 years. He previously worked in senior roles with Clarity Integration, Intuita and Pera. He has over 25 years experience in development technologies and is authoritative on all aspects of eCommerce technology. In his role as Technical Director, he sets the company direction for technical innovation, security, integration, methodologies and the quality of our product portfolio.

Will O’Brien

Sales Director

Will has 28 years’ experience within the software industry and joined Maginus from Oracle Corporation where he was the EMEA Vice President for the Oracle Retail Global business unit for 5 years and was latterly VP for the Alliance and Channels business. Prior to this Will spent 10 years with SAP, during which time he ran SAP's retail business for 5 years. He was responsible for doubling the customer base in both of these companies.

Dave Tranter

Maginus OMS Product Director

Dave has 23 years experience at Maginus working on the deployment and development of OMS, primarily in a Product Management role. Prior to this he has 20 years software experience in aerospace manufacturing and timber sales & processing, working on a range of projects from software selection, development and implementation.


Paul Spinks

Non-Executive Director

Paul has over 20 years’ experience in the retail market, currently as Managing Director of Lulu Guinness and has an exceptional track record in senior roles within retail, these include Managing Director of Cath Kidston, Bowland Retail, Aspinal of London and Associate Director at global retail consultancy, Javelin Group.

As Non-Executive Director, Paul offers advice and guidance on Maginus’ development strategy in relation to the solutions we offer within the multichannel retail market.
